HOLLISTON, Mass., June 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Esco Tool has introduced an O.D. clamping split frame machine that features a new clamp system that evenly distributes the clamping forces on thin wall stainless steel pipe to help retain roundness.

The Esco COHOG® Split Frame Machine has a robust stationary ring machined from 7075 aluminum alloy and supports a custom steel forged, heat-treated and nickel-plated rotating ring. Featuring four clamp feet that provide the surface contact needed to smooth out-of-round pipe, the clamping forces are evenly distributed to retain roundness for automatic welding processes.

Ideally suited for beveling thin wall stainless steel pipe, the Esco COHOG® Split Frame Machine incorporates a one-piece module that mounts to the tool slide and holds a pre-angled cutting bit. Most cutting bits have multiple cutting edges for long life and are simple to replace. Power options include pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric motors.
